Out of Hours (OOH) Summary Report

The Out of Hours (OOH) Summary Report summaries the entries recorded for your OOH services. It can produce two reports:

To run an Individual Patient Out of Hours Report:

  1. From either:

    • The ECS/PCS/KIS Summary Management screen, select Reports and select Palliative Care Reports, or

    • From the Vision 3 front screen, select Reporting - Palliative Care Reports.

  2. The Palliative Care Reports screen displays, select File and then Out of Hours Summary:

  3. Select Search and select the patient required from Select Patient in the usual way, see Selecting a Patient for details if required.

  4. A progress bar displays for a short time and then the Palliative Care OOH Summary Report displays:

    Note - The Main Diagnosis section is blank unless you create a Problem Header with a mnemonic of *GSFS1 and the diagnosis code must be linked to that Problem.

  5. The report displays on your screen, select:

    • File - Print to send the report to your printer,

    • File - Save to name and save this report, or

    • File - Exit to close the report.

To run a report for a group of patients matching a criteria:

  1. From either:

    • The ECS/PCS/KIS Summary Management screen, select Reports and select Palliative Care Reports, or

    • From the Vision 3 front screen, select Reporting - Palliative Care Reports.

  2. The Palliative Care Reports screen displays, select File and then Out of Hours Summary:

    Complete Selection Criteria as required:

    • Review Date - Select from:

      • Within the next seven days

      • Expired four weeks ago

      • Expired

      • All

    • Patients - Select from:

      • Registered & unregistered within the last month

      • Currently registered

      • All

    • Consent - This is consent to data sharing for palliative care, select from:

      • Given

      • Refused

      • Either

  3. Select Search.

  4. The report displays on your screen, select:

    • File - Print to send the report to your printer,

    • File - Save to name and save this report, or

    • File - Exit to close the report.

    5. Note - The Palliative Care Out of Hours Summary Report can be produced for any patient who has a Palliative Care Plan even if they have not consented to share the data.
